I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this product (like I do with most products I buy nowadays). For several years now, I've used compression shirts as undershirts - mainly for smoothing out my upper body so I don't look & feel so lumpy/flabby. I relied heavily upon the versions one could previously get from Walmart (Starter brand), but got tired of how the collars were very prominent underneath my T-Shirts. I was happy when I discovered this brand. I was already in the custom of ordering XL compression shirts, even though I wore XXL shirts - I appreciated the tight fitting nature it provided. I had read with these products that other customers experienced some problems using this same mindset however. I went ahead and ordered XL's since I had lost about 65 pounds over the past 3 years or so. I will say that had I not lost that amount of weight, I may not have appreciated the way these fit. I'm actually now very close to wearing XL sized T-shirts & other types of shirts on a regular basis, but need the length of XXL since I'm 6'5". Anyway, had I not lost the weight, I probably would've been better off with the XXL version of these compression tanks - I say that to try to help others with their decision making.. they can be bit difficult to get on & off. I am VERY happy I bought these. I feel very confident about myself when I wear these under T-Shirts - no more black compression shirt collars drawing attention away from the T-Shirt. I will be buying more of these very soon. I will say that they are slightly tight, but you'll get used to it after a couple times of wearing it - its just very different from the Starter brand style compression shirts. One reviewer talked about these shirts maintaining a funny odor - I have NOT experienced that with mine. Definitely make this purchase!
